Mach

A fast, native Gmail client for iPhone, iPad and Mac, built for getting through email quickly: keyboard-first on the Mac, swipe-first on iPhone. Mach talks to Gmail directly from your device, and its AI runs on Apple’s on-device model unless you choose Claude.

Made by Oryx Studio

What it does

  • Triage fast: a split inbox, Remind Me, Send Later, Undo Send, snippets, a command palette and Inbox Zero.
  • On the Mac, keyboard shortcuts for everything: moving through conversations, triage, writing and search. On iPhone, configurable swipes.
  • AI on your device: Apple’s on-device model reads natural-language searches, sorts mail with Auto Labels, suggests instant replies, writes short summaries and pulls out details such as dates, sign-in codes and tracking numbers.
  • Claude, if you want it: with your own Anthropic API key, write with AI, get drafts prepared for mail that needs a reply, longer summaries, and Ask AI about your whole mailbox.
  • Google Calendar beside your mail, with creating, moving and editing events, and a Today view for the day ahead.
  • Packages found in your shipping emails, with their latest status.
  • For teams, optionally: read statuses and comments on conversations through Mach Cloud, a small server you or your team run.
  • Widgets for your inbox, calendar and packages.

Privacy and your Google data

  • Mach reads, organizes and sends your Gmail and Google Calendar data directly between your device and Google, only to provide the features above. There’s no Mach server in between, and the developer has no access to your mailbox.
  • No sign-up, analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs, and your data is never sold or used to train AI models.
  • Claude features send the emails they need to Anthropic only if you add your own API key. Read statuses and team comments use a Mach Cloud server only if you set one up. Package status is looked up on the carrier’s website, from your device, by tracking number.

Mach’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
